With 16 years of experience specializing in dog behavior and communication, I work with pet parents to support every aspect of their dog’s life—from puppyhood to their final moments. My journey began with my own rescue dog, Mischa (Mama). As a first-time dog owner, I didn’t know much about dogs, but the more I learned, the more I realized Mischa wasn’t receiving the care she deserved. I went all in, quitting my corporate job in the city to create a dog walking service tailored specifically to Mischa’s needs.
Through continuous education, research, and a deep passion for dog behavior, training, animal communication, and strengthening the human-dog bond, I’ve grown TAKA Dog Walk into something truly meaningful. My services now include dog training, coaching, animal communication, nutrition, and emotional support for pet parents navigating the journey of their pets’ end-of-life experience.
This was Mischa, or Mama, the dog who changed my life. We met in 2008 at Liberty Humane Society, and she inspired the creation of TAKA Dog Walk. Mischa welcomed many animals into our home over the years, and her care led me to build a service dedicated to the health and happiness of dogs and their families. Though she’s no longer with us, her memory continues to guide everything we do.
